(a) To organize and unite persons who have completed a the Frances Glessner Lee Homicide Investigation Seminar for Law Enforcement Personnel sponsored by the Maryland Medical Legal Foundation (MMLF) and/or a comparable seminar from a medical school institution approved by the Board of Directors of this Association.
(b) To encourage the enlargement and improvement of medical science in crime detection.
(c) To encourage research work in scientific crime detection.
(d) To promote the highest standards among law enforcement having charge of criminal investigations.
(e) To meet in Convention and disseminate precise data to members in respect to crime prevention and detection and to put forth our full power in any movement that has, for its aim, crime reduction.
(f) To provide law enforcement persinnel with the latest developments in laboratory and other scientific aids in crime detection.
(g) To bring about closer and more efficient cooperation between law enforcement and medical science.
